DCCC Chapels Dedication Postponed

Hi Everyone,

The dedication for the two Chapels at Dick Conner Correctional Center at Hominy, OK has been postponed!

Warden Terry Martin and his dedicated staff, the volunteers and the vendors have been working feverously to meet the June 1st date. However, we cannot be ready for this Saturday.

Reasons why:

1) We do not have the occupancy permit from the State Fire Marshall.
2) The 6″ fire line has to pass a two hundred pound pressure test. This has to be done before we
can get a sign off for the sprinkler system and get a occupancy permit.
3) 80′ of sidewalk needs to be poured. The weather has been a major hindrance.
4) The remainder of the carpet in the big chapel still needs to be laid.

A new date for dedication has not yet been set. We will let you know when it has been rescheduled. We apologize for the inconvenience this has caused.
