1st PRISON CHAPEL—DR. EDDIE WARRIOR
CORRECTIONAL CENTER, TAFT, OK

World Mission Builders entered into a partnership with the Oklahoma Department of Corrections to build multiple chapels in prisons in Oklahoma. The first chapel at Dr. Eddie Warrior Correctional Center, Taft, OK has been completed. The first chapel has 4800 sq. ft., three classrooms, library/computer lab, card shop, two offices, 176 seat auditorium, stage, baptistry, and an audio system.

Dozens of inmates enthusiastically assisted with the construction along with 40+ volunteers from six states. Scores of area business people signed on to this volunteer project by providing over $130,000.000 of donated goods and services. Churches and individuals donated over $100,000.00. The project finished ahead of schedule and under budget.

We have received a request from three chaplains for future chapels. Future projects include Dick Conner Correctional Center, Hominy, OK; Mack Alford Correctional Center, Stringtown, OK; and John Lilley Correctional Center, Boyle, OK.
